Last gimmick before the year ends

I’m on a VL last Dec 29 just for the heck of it so i had my day planned ahead. I have 2 activities to do for the day: get together with the St Scho Kada in the afternoon and then Exclusive in the evening. The kada get together was held in Vanes and Margo’s condo opposite Rob Galleria. Around lunchtime, I fetched Karla in Gloria Jeans Galleria then got the key for the condo from Vanes because she’s still having a meeting then and Margo was still on her way there. So Karla and I alone in my friends’ condo. Then the girls arrived, Bans, Meggy, Nowie ( and Caleb too), Margo, Vanes and Jihan. We had lots of food: Brooklyn pizza, siomai ( my mom made that, the super in demand siomai back in high school then hehe), pita bread thingies brought by Meggy, goldilocks cake log brought by Nowie and Tequila Rose ( alcoholic drink hehe) brought by Jihan. After eating, we played Cranium a super fun board game that will never get u bored. hehe. We were 2 teams, my teammates were Vanes, Meg and Nowie while the other team is composed of Margo, Bans, Jihan and Karla. We won the game 2/3 and the price is each one will treat the other team cupcakes in serendra. So after the game and lots of cam whoring ( and pamilya zaragosa photo shoots ) we went straight to Serendra to get our cupcakes. We said our goodbyes and then Karla and I had dinner in Hapchan in Market Market. After dinner, we headed straight to Greenhills to go to the exclusive lesbian party. We fetched Hazel first in Starbucks Greenhills Theater Mall then met up with Ycoy and Me-an in Manila DJ club. It’s been a long time since Ycoy and I got together in an exclusive lesbian party. I think it was 2 years ago since we’re together in that kind of party. We were both single then, but now she’s the only one who’s single I have a girlfriend with me. Hehe. That’s also a first time. hehehe. So it was the 5 of us in that party, had some drinks and danced the night away.

By the way, it’s our 1st monthsary and looking forward to the next ones.

Everything is in its place, the lover, the friend, the life, the set…

” We’re friends already.”

“Yes we are and I do like to pass the day with you in serious and inconsequential chatter. I wouldn’t mind washing up beside you, dusting beside you, reading the back half of the paper while you read the front. We are friends and I would miss you, do miss you and think of you very often. I don’t want to lose this happy space and where I have found someone who is smart and easy and who doesn’t bother to check her diary when we arrange to meet. All the way home I told myself these things and these things were the solid pavement beneath my feet and the neat clipped hedges and the corner shop and Jacqueline’s car. Everything in its place; the lover, the friend, the life, the set…”

I was supposed to wait for 2 people after work but unfortunately injanero sila. Well for Naomi who says she owes me an explanation kebs na and as for Lhette, it’s ok i perfectly understand she has a meeting eh.

While waiting for my baby to finish work, I stayed in Starbucks Dela Rosa. While drinking my iced white chocolate mocha and smoking I was also talking to Margo over the phone just to get away with boredom. After talking to Margo, I decided to read my credit card statement. As I was scanning my expenses there ( oh gosh good luck maxed out credit card! hehe), may naririnig akong sumusutsot saken.. I really didn’t bother to look at that person who was inside the car. I was not expecting anyone naman to wait for me with a car naman eh. So there, I was there still reading I suddenly glanced coz nangangawit na leeg ko. I saw the guy wiggling his u know what.. ewww it’s really gross. I wasn’t even in my glamorous self when it happened. I was just wearing a plain baby tee shirt, jeans and rubber shoes. No make up at all. Ewww.. I texted my baby then at once and Margo whom I was talking to abt a few minutes after that incident. After ranting that freaky incident, we went to glorietta coz we’ll be having a dinner with Karla’s best friend and his boyfriend.. Continue reading “49”

Pride March program

We were supposed to really “march” then but we weren’t able to because my contact person doesn’t know where exactly they are.. So we just attended the Pride March program. I was with Karla, of course, and it was our first time to attend such an event. For me it felt liberating because it was my first time and you’re with people who have conviction about LGBT issues. Of course I was with UP babaylan contingent. It’s been a long time since I hung out with UP babaylan people. It feels good that you’re with the people of your own kind. It’s very rare that I get a chance to mingle with people who have a kind of mindset not very common in the “normal” world. Continue reading “Pride March program”

Virgin Moments

Being with someone new is always exciting. There are things that I always look forward to when I am with someone new.

In a span of more than a month of being with Karla, I was able to go to places I don’t usually go. I call it “virgin moments”. It’s nice to do something or be somewhere new and you’re with the one that you love. The experience attaches a more deeper meaning to it and it always enchants me when I reminisce about it. I’ve never really hung out around Makati before, especially Greenbelt area now I’m always there because that’s the nearest mall from both of our offices. That’s where we usually date. She also brought me to Conti’s in the Fort and hung out for awhile in Bonifacio High Street.

But, the best thing is when it’s both our virgin moment. Isn’t that nice? I really love it when that happens.

It just couldn’t get any better than this

It just keeps getting better everyday. Yesterday, one of my best friends in college suddenly messaged me in downelink. This is verbatim: “ Saw you the other week, but I’m sorry I didn’t say Hi. Nahiya ako e. Sana nahiya ka rin kaya hindi ka nagHi. Hehe. Kamusta na? I hope you are well”. Now let me narrate to you what happened in the past to get the picture… Continue reading “It just couldn’t get any better than this”
