Ahaha. It’s just the Lydia’s Lechon Mascot. Picture taken when I was in Megamall with Karla.

Marcus Adoro, the guitarist of the defunct Eraserheads, probably is the most silent member of the group. He’s really the silent type ( only on tv appearances) but in real life he’s really a cool ( as in macoolet hehe) guy. Thank you for the VIP passes Marcus. Here are some of his live performances. Enjoy 🙂
( Marcus still with Itchyworms, this time singing “Wala”. A song Marcus composed when he was still with the Eheads from the album Natin99)

We know that advertising is a powerful force that molds people’s minds whether it is a product advertisement or an advocacy. This is the reason 2nd Media, the Public Affairs arm of the Outdoor Advertising Association of the Philippines, launched the Biggest Outdoor Gallery in Asia which aims to change how billhoards should be. This is a good way to let the people who will be passing by these billboards in EDSA about nature conservation. For me, it is something to look forward to because billboards today mostly show bare naked bodies and just advertise clothes or beauty products etc. Also one interesting thing about this one is that these are real artworks that were done by 10 most promising Filipino artists such as Popo San Pascual, Riel Hilario, Eddie Boy Escudero, Jose Terence Ruiz, Mario V. Fernandez, Gari Buenavista, MM Yu, Christina Quisumbing Ramilo, Lotsu Manes and Tina Fernandez. This also will help people appreciate art by bringing it much closer to the people, breaking the common notion that art can only be contained inside a museum when in fact it can be seen anywhere.
Thank you and congratulations to the organizers of this event. The launching was held at Fully Booked at Bonifacio High Street last Oct 16.
Oh yes, it can happen. Last week, Pantene shared the new 3-Minute Miracle Treatment with the bloggers. Taste Asia was transformed into this fabulous place. Never thought Taste Asia could be transformed like that 🙂 . There was a booth at the back wherein anyone can try this newest product of Pantene. The 3-Minute Miracle treatment can help repair damaged hair instantly without going to the salon and spending lots of money just to have hair treatments. All you have to do is do this once every week and this can be done in just 3 minutes. Visible changes can be seen probably in about 3 weeks. It’s now being sold in the market for only Php 299 ( 3 tubes). I started trying one just yesterday and will be doing that every week 😉 Continue reading “Miracles Can Happen in 3 Minutes”

Eraserheads fever isn’t over yet. There are quite some things that came up after the Eraserheads reunion concert so as Eraserheads fans we have to watch out for these. It’s really imperative that we have these things so I won’t stall anymore :).
First of all, there will be a reunion concert audio CD that will be released by the end of this year. Sancho confirms it on his email through the Circus Mailing list. Here it goes: Continue reading “Things to have if you’re an Eraserheads fan”
(Dayo official teaser trailer)
I got excited because I have never been to an animation studio ever in my life and that’s why I really prepped up to be early for the studio tour in Cutting Edge Studios at Greenbelt Mansion, Makati. The studio tour is for the promotion of Dayo, the first Filipino all-digital animated film. The place was filled with toys, which they really need to keep their imagination “child-like” 🙂 . I’m not really a buff for video games but when I experienced playing Nintendo Wii for the first time at Redbox, I realized it was really fun. Starting this October, Redbox will be offering Nintendo Wii as one of its attractions. Customers now may choose if they opt to use the microphone or the nunchuck controllers. Note that there will be some rooms that wouldn’t have the Wii consoles so better ask the receptionist to get you the room with the Wii console. There’s no added fee for having the Wii there, you still get to pay the same rate whether they have a promo or not. So Redbox wouldn’t only be your one-stop karaoke place, but they now offer billiards, poker tables and of course the newly installed Wii consoles.
Last night was really fun, I played Bowling and Boxing. As you can see in the pictures hehe.
Thanks to the organizers of the Nintendo Wii party last night!
Redbox branches are in Greenbelt 3 and Trinoma.
