Official MV of The Dorques’ Murasaki Blue – Inspired by Shaider

Just the other day, my officemates and I were fighting about the color of Annie’s underwear in the 90’s Japanese series, Shaider. All of us grew up at the time Shaider was really something we look forward to but have never realized about the color of Annie’s underwear. We know that it always shows whenever she does action sequences. Anyway, after an hour of arguing about it, we have finally realized that whenever Annie wears her brown fringe skirt matched with her brown vest, her underwear is white but whenever she wears the yellow counterpart of it, her underwear’s yellow.

Anyway, since we’re talking about Shaider here I stumbled upon one of my favorite band’s music video Murasaki Blue. The Dorques released their album November of 2008 but it’s only now that they’ve released a music video. The video was inspired by Shaider. Nina (the keyboardist) portrayed Annie (oh yes, she wore that fringe skirt and her underwear jived to the major realization of the day.

The music video was directed by Marie Jamora. Watch it and you’ll be reminiscing your childhood watching Shaider. 🙂

Pupil Launches Special Wildlife Album at SM Sky Dome

Pupil re-launched their 2nd album Wildlife last Friday, July 10th at the SM Sky Dome. What’s special about this album is that they have remastered all the tracks (meaning, it has better quality) and in addition, they have a separate CD of the tracks they performed during the Pupil Lister’s Night held in Big Sky Mind. It also contains a DVD of Pupil’s music videos and digital wallpapers of Pupil there so that fans can place it as wallpapers on their desktop computers or laptops.

Ely Buendia

So, it was a Friday, the last day of my work week. I left work at 5:20 pm and immediately rushed to SM North just to make sure that Karla and I would avoid the Friday rush hour heavy traffic. The rain was pouring hard but that did not stop us from going to SM Sky Dome. I bought Hero hotdogs for dinner and decided to eat it while we’re inside the venue. There isn’t that much people yet at 7:00 pm. According to the announcements, the show was supposed to start at 7:00 pm but because of the rain, the band was stuck in heavy traffic in EDSA. So, we went inside the Sky Dome and sat at the middle aisle because it would be difficult to see if we’re on the side. A lot of familiar faces were there, the Pupil and Circus listers, a former colleague of mine from Eperformax and my grade school friend Chili. It was nice to see Chili again whom I have never spoke for more than 10 years and also Gerard, a fellow Circus lister I met during the Eheads Final Set (also one of the individuals who got a portion of Ely’s Levi’s jacket). Graphic Artist Beaten Up by Raymund Marasigan?

For the latest Philippine news stories and videos, visit GMANews.TV

Ex-Eraserheads drummer, Raymund Marasigan, was accused by a graphic artist/photographer of beating him up during the FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women event held last night at the World Trade Center. The news was reported at GMA 7’s morning show Unang Hirit.

According to the graphic artist/photographer, he was taking photos of the models while Sandwich was performing then, allegedly Raymund poured water of their group. He said that Raymund might have been upset because they were not focused on the band performing. He also said that Raymund allegedly hit him and then Mike Dizon helped beating the sh*t out of him. Until now Raymund has not released any statements regarding this matter. I just hope that this will just be a minor misunderstanding and be settled at once. The 2010 Philippine elections is just 10 months away and again, we need to choose a new president for the country. No one has confirmed that they are running for the presidency; obviously, they will be filing their certificate of candidacies on or weeks before the very last day of COC filing. Even though no one has confirmed yet who will be running either for president, vice-president or senators, we are already getting the hunch on who will be aiming for public office (again).

A socio-political networking website,, is said to enlighten us voters (and aspiring voters) to know the background of politicians who, according to “public opinion”, will run on 2010. It’s the first of its kind here but it’s not owned by the Comission of Elections (COMELEC). This project is in partnership with, meaning they funded the whole website. Blogging Live from SM Megamall WiFi Testing

Speedtest of SM Megamall’s Wifi

I am currently at SM Megamall for the WiFi testing. Apparently it’s not that fast basing it on the speedtest minutes ago. Websites I accessed during the test were just the basics –, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, NU 107.5 live streaming and Tweetdeck. The connection becomes intermittent once in a while. Uploading pictures here in WordPress is also struggling to be completed. I also tried to play Restaurant City in Facebook but unfortunately, it’s a fail.
